Artist Biography
Gianna D’Aprile is completing her senior year at Endicott College. She is majoring in Interior Design with a minor in Business. After her internship experience at Elkus Manfredi Architects, Gianna hopes to find a medium-large sized firm to work for. She favors retail and hospitality design but is open to any design field.

Thesis Abstract
Gianna D’Aprile explored ways that a traditional Semester at Sea program could be redesigned to inspire students to make a positive impact on the world. Some key methods of inspiration are: community service, cultural immersion, travel, and experiential learning, and aid to developing countries.
Waves Of Impact is a program that incorporates all of the above topics, to create a perfect environment to inspire students to better themselves, better the lives of those in need, and better the world as a whole.
