Thesis Abstract
Forwards is a Visual and Performing Arts education facility that provides art-based education to students with disabilities in grades 6-12. Their main focus is to offer these students the opportunity to explore, create, and play through the arts as a way to help break shameful stereotypes within society. Art-focused education can further nurture student confidence and learning in an experiential way. In reaction, these students will demonstrate their talents as a way to break barriers in society.
