Thesis Abstract

The Quiet Current was designed to answer the question of: how can hospitality be specifically tailored to introverts that are afraid of travelling and help them feel inclined to travel more? Hotels are meant to provide guests with top notch care and hospitality that makes it feel like a home away from home. This idea might stray introverts away due to the possibility of contact with workers and other guests and the anxiety of travel plans. This may cause introverted individuals to miss out on seeing other parts of the world and enjoying the feeling of a true getaway. If there were to be a hotel with intentional design that caters to the psychological, physiological, and emotional needs of introverts, their travelling experience will be positively impacted and might change their overall perspective of the idea.
