Thesis Abstract
Organized international educational opportunities are offered almost exclusively to college students. Global experiences like these enhance interpersonal development, cultural awareness, and build a stronger sense of self for young adults, ages 18-22, and should be offered to a wider group of people. There is a need for an international educational experience available to young adults outside of the traditional four-year college structure that will immerse the students into the local culture and encourage more international travel in the future. Go Global is an international educational model that gives young adults the chance to live, travel and learn abroad, ultimately creating global citizens of the next generation.
