Artist Biography
Amelia Beigel is a senior Graphic Design student at Endicott College, who grew up in Amherst, MA. A dedicated student-athlete, she played volleyball at Endicott all four years, balancing competition with creativity. She’s been passionate about art for as long as she can remember—always drawing, painting, and exploring new ways to express herself.
Amelia started her college journey as an Art Therapy major, but quickly realized that Graphic Design was the perfect fit, a way to combine her love for art with visual storytelling, creativity, and problem-solving. Since then, she’s immersed herself in all things design, while continuing to experiment with other mediums, such as ceramics, painting, doodling, watercolor, and more. Outside of design, she loves to read, cook, spend time with friends, hike, and visit the beach. Her goal as a designer is to create work that not only reflects her artistic voice but also connects with people, both thoughtfully and intentionally. After graduation, Amelia is excited to stay on the North Shore and begin her full-time role as a Junior Graphic Designer at HireClix in Gloucester.

Thesis Abstract
Harvest is a cookbook and subscription service designed to make cooking feel fun, approachable, and genuinely exciting. Created for young adults, especially those just out of college or in their early to mid-twenties – Harvest is for anyone who wants to cook more but isn’t sure where to start. Its goal is to offer an inviting, stress-free starting point that makes the kitchen feel like a place of creativity and empowerment.
Harvest embraces creativity in every corner, from its vibrant color palette and carefully chosen typograph system to its playful, hand-drawn illustrations and brand mascot. The brand weaves together photography, color, and illustration to create a warm, whimsical, and cohesive visual identity that feels joyful and intentional and makes young home cooks want to know more! What sets Harvest apart from a traditional cookbook is its curated subscription service. Each month, users receive a thoughtfully packaged collection of ingredients, tools, recipe cards, and more – everything that could be needed to begin building a well-stocked pantry, a functional cooking tool collection, and foundational cooking knowledge.
With its colorful, playful design and thoughtful storytelling, Harvest invites new home cooks to step into the kitchen with confidence. It’s not about perfection—it’s about exploration, creativity, and making cooking something to look forward to. Harvest is made up of three main core values: creativity, sustainability, and empowerment. While many see cooking as a chore, Harvest invites its users to see it as an opportunity to unwind and express themselves. It encourages eco-conscious choices and waste reduction, making each meal more mindful. And most of all, Harvest exists to empower, providing the tools, inspiration, and support needed to feel confident, capable, and excited in the kitchen.
