Art therapy majors learn to use creative processes to promote positive change in the healing of others. Endicott is proud to offer one of the few Art Therapy B.F.A. programs in the nation. Art therapy is a four-year, pre-professional degree program integrating three areas of study: studio art, psychology, and creative arts therapies. Primarily based on the visual arts, students may choose to augment coursework with opportunities in drama, music, and creative writing. Through foundation courses, students grow increasingly comfortable working in a variety of media and are encouraged to develop a personal toolbox of personal creative resources that can be shared therapeutically with others.
