Artist Biography
Kate Gould is 2024 graduate of Endicott College’s interior architecture program. In addition to being on the dean’s list for every semester, Kate is also a member of Endicott’s Kappa Pi International Art Honors Society. In addition to this Kate attended Florence University of the Arts in Italy for her spring semester of 2023 allowing for a global exploration of interior design and architecture.
Thesis Abstract
BeMore Community Crafting Cooperative is an initiative aimed at fostering a safe and inclusive environment for middle and high school students in Baltimore, encouraging them to explore the therapeutic benefits and skill development associated with the arts. This community art center emphasizes accessibility by offering free crafting spaces to students of all financial, cultural, and artistic backgrounds. It seeks to enhance community engagement and education through a diverse range of events that welcome participants of all ages and abilities, thus promoting inclusivity and creativity in a highly urban setting. The cooperative’s primary goal is to utilize the arts as a tool for personal growth and community strengthening.
