Artist Biography
Isabella Young is graduating from Endicott College in the spring of 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture. Throughout her four years, she played on the women’s soccer team while also learning and gaining the knowledge of interior design. She also had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy in the spring semester of 2023 where she learned all about the culture and arts within Italy, while simultaneously learning about her love for travel and new places. Her thesis topic was chosen out of inspiration for better and more personal mental health resources that could be available on college campuses with the increase in mental health struggles in college students.
Thesis Abstract
The Link is an academic and social hub for college students of Charleston, SC. This center provides access to resources students need in order to feel comfortable and capable of reaching out for help with personal struggles. Offering a variety of study and social spaces, as well as a mental health resource center, The Link intentionally integrates and normalizes a series of opportunistic environments that ease student growth and success in their college experience.
