Her thesis encapsulates the attention of others by allowing lower-income women to break generational wealth gaps by creating strong communal support and educational opportunities.
Thesis Abstract
Oftentimes success in professional settings can be achieved through the development of impressive interview skills, the use of professional clothing, well-constructed resumes, and interpersonal skills. However, these resources are not readily accessible to lower-income women, limiting them from breaking generational income struggles and progressing to reach their professional aspirations. By creating this fully equipped nonprofit resource center, Lume, all women will be able to be guided to remove the barriers of professional limitations for lower-income women in the workplace and create a fitting environment that allows all women to be treated as equals and ultimately help them to reach their full career potential.
