Artist Biography
Paige Messana will graduate from Endicott College in Spring 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture and aspires to gain her Master of Interior Architecture though Endicott College’s 5th year program. From a young age, Paige enjoyed design and the ability to make spaces function better. Raised on the North Fork of Long Island, she has been surrounded by farms and the sea inspiring an appreciation for simple living. Paige believes that spaces should feel less decorated and instead, in harmony and ingrained with architecture and the built environment. She feels the most successful spaces are those which are created to feel approachable, relaxed and calming for users.
Thesis Abstract
The Mountain Club is a post-rehabilitation center for survivors of Traumatic Brain Injury sustained through skiing or snowboarding. This center is devoted to complete healing, specifically of the mind, and seeks to complete this through creating community, hope, and restoration for both survivors and their caretakers. By focusing on redefining survivor relationships with themselves and their caretaker’s survivors can renter their lives in a more positive and healthy way.
