Thesis Abstract

Victims of sexual assault are at high risk of having mental, physical, and emotional pain that can be long-lasting and harmful to their future development. It is important to recognize these effects and resolve them through proven treatment methods that these individuals are most comfortable with. It is also imperative to try and find additional ways that are helpful and impactful, such as biophilia, in an attempt to allow these victims to live in an environment that is fulfilling and resourceful. Through biophilia and natural resources, sexual assault victims can ultimately heal from their trauma via short-term, in-patient natural therapies.
