Artist Biography
Emily Boyer is a graduating senior finishing with a BFA in Graphic Design and a Minor in Marketing and Communication. She is currently wrapping up a rigorous six-month internship at Colorbox Industries. Born and raised on the coast of Maine, Emily continuously pulls inspiration from nature and the organic environment she is surrounded by. With a passion for typography and illustration, this thesis is a culmination of many different design fields Emily has found an interest in throughout her time at Endicott College.
Thesis Abstract
illi-ollo is a planner and stationary company specifically for creatives. The spotlight product is the fully customizable planner that is built for the life of creatives, however illi-ollo has numerous other products as well. illi-ollo strives to provide creatives with the structure they need in their daily lives. With a focus on sustainability, all the products produced by illi-ollo are sustainably made with the environment in mind. Built for the modern age as well as for lovers of analog planners, illi-ollo planners are easily scannable into the illi-ollo app space to provide the consumer with reminders and notifications about the important meetings and appointments they have in their lives. This thesis includes product design for 13 different products, brand identity and style, typographic animation, as well as ux/ui design.
