Thesis Abstract

Every year, individuals decide to stop what they are doing to take on a 4-6 month long thru- hike. The purpose of the Pacific Trek Resource Center (PTRC) is to help thru-hikers restock and prepare for the rest of their journey on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). In addition to this, the PTRC will be a place where hikers can get medical attention for any hiking or outdoor related injuries. The PTRC will serve as a place for thru-hikers to refuel, re-energize, and restock on any necessary tools.
