Artist Biography
Vanessa Rogers is a senior design student at Endicott College, graduating with a BFA in Interior Architecture. Throughout her academic career at Endicott, she has been able to dive deep into her passion for interior design. The internship program and connections that the design department has with local firms has helped her network with many different designers where she was able to get hands-on experience. Vanessa is originally from Tewksbury, MA and completed all of her internships close to home. After graduation, she will continue to work at her current place of employment at Whitlock Design Group, a commercial design firm that specializes in restaurants and eat-ertainment spaces.
Thesis Abstract
Recovery Revolution is an addiction rehabilitation facility that is designed to enhance the recovery process of individuals who suffer from substance abuse through mind, body and soul connectivity. Incorporating design elements and theories such as biophila, person-place attachment, and designing for psychological benefits will enhance the recovery process and encourage others to seek recovery.
