Artist Biography
Mikayla Roldan is a graduating senior at Endicott College with a BFA in Graphic Design. She grew up in Holyoke, MA, and is a first-generation college student of Puerto Rican descent. Mikayla spent her teenage years discovering a passion for music, taking piano lessons, and teaching herself all of her favorite songs. She had been known for her illustration skills in her childhood and took a liking to graphic design when she joined the yearbook staff during high school. With constant praise and encouragement from her advisor, she took on the role of Editor in Chief her senior year, allowing her to develop a sense of leadership. Since enrolling at Endicott, Mikayla has further developed her taste in music and realized her passion for tying it in with her design. She completed her semester-long internship at a punk record label where she was encouraged to be experimental with her work and developed a diverse portfolio. After graduation, she hopes to continue to build experience in the music business and assemble a strong network to get her foot in the door of the competitive industry.
