Thesis Abstract
Element is a compound fitness and well-being environment inspired by and developed around the elements of nature and wellness. It integrates green exercise, community, and a holistic view of wellness into the modern fitness experience. Generation Z is moving on from the pre-existing model of the gym, with virtual and boutique exercise at the forefront during the global lock down and a shifting perspective around wellness. By focusing on redefining the fitness experience with a strong connection to nature, the benefits of green exercise can be reached by committed gym goers, trainers, and community members alike. It is placed in a convenient location outside Boston that helps promote a balanced and sustainable lifestyle in conjunction with the bustle of the concrete jungle.
