Thesis Abstract

Since the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic, there has been a steep increase in domestic and intimate partner violence cases across the globe. Cornerstone is a facility for domestic violence survivors in Alaska, with a focus on a holistic approach. It is a facility that is more than a shelter and provides all of the necessary resources for survivors within one building. In creating a more cohesive and safe healing space, survivors can create deeper mind, body, and soul connections leading to lifelong lifestyle changes.
