Artist Biography
Gabrielle Blum (she/her) is graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minor in Education. Besides being a full-time student, Gabrielle also worked as a Peer Tutor, Sustainability Fellow, and was President of the Architecture and Design Club on campus. She is a current member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association) and ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), and will continue participating in those organizations post-graduation. Most recently, she has taken a position on the IIDA Fashion Show committee for the Fall 2022 Fashion Show. After graduation, Gabrielle will be beginning her full-time career with Isgenuity, an architecture and design firm in Boston where she has been working part-time since the completion of her senior internship. Gabrielle will also begin completing her Master’s in Architecture, while continuing to follow her passions in other areas, such as sustainability and philanthropy.

Thesis Abstract
Providing decentralized services to at-risk families within the community presents challenges due to lack of transportation, social discomfort, time commitment, and coordination of care and services. The creation of a centralized community resource center, where clients can receive necessary services in one location, would alleviate these stressors.
