Artist Biography
Alexandra Stevens will graduate from Endicott College in the spring of 2022 with a B.F.A. in Interior Architecture. After transferring to Endicott her sophomore year she realized her passion for interior design. As a former psychology major, Alex takes a lot of interest in people and their interactions with spaces and loves the impact design can have on individuals’ interactions with one another. She also takes a special interest in biophilia and organic architecture, the main component of her Senior Thesis. Alex has completed 2 internships during her time at Endicott and has been recognized for her academic achievements on the Dean’s list. Alex is more excited than ever to continue her passion in the field after graduation, creating harmonious, restoring environments.

Thesis Abstract
Salem Transitional is a transitional school for students with learning disabilities as they move from high school to college education. The space is designed to provide these students with an environment that will ease their transition, leading to better retention and graduation rates in higher education. Salem Transitional is founded on biophilic principles intended to immerse students in nature, lowering stress levels and increasing Attention Restoration leading to higher academic proficiency.
