Artist Biography
Throughout her lifetime, the things Alena has done and the experiences she’s lived through have meant everything to her. They shaped her inside and out and make her proud of who she is. Through all-star cheerleading, she traveled to places like Dallas, TX, Washington D.C., and Orlando, FL. From a young age, she knew she wanted to get out and see the world around her and learn about different cultures and lifestyles. Internationally, she has been to France, Italy, Monaco, Spain, The Netherlands, Ireland, and the Bahamas. She also had the chance to study abroad in Florence, Italy living a once in a lifetime opportunity, even doing so during a pandemic. She was also a captain of Endicott’s cheerleading team. In her free time, she likes to work out, scroll through Pinterest for inspiration and ideas, hang out with friends and family, shop, clean, travel, and journal. She started studying graphic design in high school with a couple of lower-level courses, which soon resulted in her falling in love with the field. Thesis Abstract
THREE SIXTY candles were designed because our creators believed in the all-around positive benefit of a candle to our lives. Our most beloved collection is the SUN SIGN astrological method of self-improvement collection. We believe indulging in our flaws and naturally given characteristics will give us the room and desire to thrive. This level of attention to one’s self is what supports growth, and every individual deserves to learn about their THREE SIXTY. The name THREE SIXTY ° was derived from doing word association with the words astrology, candle, and timeless. Astrology is all about personality, alignment, and all the bits and pieces that make an individual whole. Besides these personal aspects, the astrology grid that places all of the planets on an axis called an orbit and the position of that planet at the time of birth results in a degree- derived from the 360 ° in a circle. A candle is a container or a vessel for burning wax with a flame to add an aroma and ambiance to a space. This atmosphere then feels like a cohesive all-around space of three hundred and sixty degrees. This candle was designed to feel timeless in a period where designers are constantly trying to keep up with trends. There is no time period that these candles feel dedicated to, keeping them ageless and able to provide decor and a personalized aroma for years to come.
