Thesis Abstract

This capstone project reimagines Bishop Fenwick High School through a design approach that prioritizes both sustainability and occupant well-being. The proposal integrates strategies such as natural daylighting, biophilic design, improved indoor air quality, and flexible learning environments to create a healthier and more engaging space for students and faculty. By strengthening the connection between the built environment and nature, the design aims to enhance comfort, focus, and overall user experience. This project demonstrates how thoughtful, sustainable design can transform an educational setting into a space that supports both people and the future.
