Artist Biography
Alana Bader is an Illustrator and Graphic Designer who studied at Endicott College. She knew she was an artist when she first picked up a pack of crayons and made her mother’s brand new couch a work of art at the wise age of five. Since then she drew as often as she could to create different characters that seemed to wind up on every paper in front of her. When she finally had to decide what career she wanted to pursue, she wasn’t quite sure until her father told her about the Graphic Design field. She found herself feeling excited to take on that path as she could use her illustration skills in what she created. During her years at Endicott she felt free to finally express herself and dress as alternatively as she pleased and this in turn shaped her body of work into something she truly loved as well.

Thesis Abstract
What We Become is a social deduction style card game where a group of 7 to IO players each receive a card that tells them their role’s ability. All the players sit around in a circle so they can see each other’s faces clearly. During the game players have to lie and deceive each other in order to not be sent to jail or get killed off by the malevolent or mafia roles. There are 10 unique cards, one being the News Reporter which narrates and operates the game. The rest of the roles are divided into four main categories: Innocent, Neutral, Malevolent, and Mafia. There are three cycles to the game, the day time which players can throw suspicion at one another, the court period where players can vote out who they think is guilty, then comes the night period where players close their eyes as the News reporter tells each role when they can wake up to use their abilities the game continues until the innocent vote both Malevolent, and Mafia roles out or if the Malevolent or Mafia roles kill one another and all other roles.
