Artist Biography
Kelly McKaig is a senior majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Studio Art at Endicott College. Growing up in Glastonbury, Connecticut, she spent much of her time working on various creative endeavors. Starting at age seven, Kelly took classes at an art studio, driving her lifelong passion for design. She was always encouraged by her family to do what she loved. Her other interests include spending time outdoors, looking through antique shops, thrifting, listening to music, finding local coffee shops, and exploring new places.
The creative process allows her to communicate concepts and ideas to tell a visual narrative, evoke emotion, and explore different design methods. Kelly enjoys cultivating genuine connections, hearing different perspectives, and collaborating with others to discover visual solutions. Her enthusiasm for connection inspired the brand Gather, a meal box service featuring regional cuisine focused on bringing people together through a shared experience.
She seeks work that will allow me to collaborate with a team of professionals to practice and develop her design skills. She strives to be authentic and let her personality show through her design. Her passion for art has led her to this industry and she is excited about the future.

Thesis Abstract
Gather is a meal box experience with recipes inspired by regional cuisine that bring people together through cooking. The name reflects a commitment to cultivating community and the concept of collecting goods to provide a diverse selection of cuisine. Recipes are curated from the cultures of different regions across the United States. The variety of cuisine provides an opportunity to taste authentic recipes and flavors from the comfort of your home. Gather also serves as a platform for local farmers, cooks, and food suppliers from around the country to share their stories to benefit and grow their businesses. Gather focuses on sustainability and fair trade, encouraging consumers to support the farming industry. The packaging is intended to be repurposed featuring a board game to spend time together, furthering the experience.
