Artist Biography
Kaitlin Marino is a graphic designer based in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, a 2024 graduate from Endicott College with her BFA in Graphic Design. Ever since she was a child, Kaitlin took every creative opportunity she could, both through the visual and performing arts. She found comfort and community through dance, theater, violin, marching band and art classes. Kaitlin attended high school at East Providence Career and Technical School where she concentrated her studies in Graphic Communications and fell in love with Graphic Design. Over the past eight years since that little highschooler opened Adobe InDesign for the first time, Kaitlin has pushed herself both academically and creatively to become the designer she is today. Kaitlin views the visual arts as a way to express herself and allow others to see the world through her eyes, and hopes to have the opportunity to make people smile through her work.
With three professional internships, two international study tours, three years of leadership experience as the President of Endicott’s Graphic Design Club, and many academic design courses under belt, Kaitlin has worked to develop both her artistic and professional skills. After graduation, Kaitlin is excited to work abroad in London, England as a Design Intern with Particular Agency.

Thesis Abstract
The Memory Box is a subscription box that helps preserve your cherished memories.
From joyous adventures with friends, heartfelt family moments, and life-defining milestones,
The Memory Box is here to help you keep your memories safe. In our current digital age, people are accustomed to sharing memories and seeing photos instantly, which research has proven delays memory recollection. The Memory Box encourages people to slow down while they’re creating memories, leaning into the creation of their own personal narrative. When you slow down and devote your full attention to an experience, your brain will create a more vivid memory.
There are a variety of specialty “Memory Boxes,” such as the Travel Box, Concert Lover Box, and Foodie Box. These carefully crafted memory boxes are meticulously designed to keep every detail of your cherished moments, from photographs and journals to small mementos. Your memories are into personal curated keepsakes that correlate with each specialty box, ensuring that every item reflects the unique essence of your experiences, such as custom photo journal books or travel maps with your favorite locations. Each box, regardless of specialty theme, includes a film camera and memory journal, which are used to document memories in an analog, tangible way.
The Memory Box has been an incredible opportunity to explore the depths of nostalgia and memory making, while turning those emotions into a full-fledged brand that aims to serve others and make people smile.
An enormous thank you to my friends, family, professors, and classmates who have all encouraged me throughout this process and have helped me become the designer and person I am today.
