Artist Biography
Emily Reedy is a graphic designer from Manchester, Nh who goes by “eser soup” occasionally. Eser Soup comes from her four initials and that all her creative talents come together to create a yummy soup of creativity to warm your belly. Emily has always been an artist, whether that be in fine arts, crafts, a digital space or in the 3D realm. Emily likes to say she fell into graphic design as it was a split second decision when applying to Endicott College. As well as majoring in graphic design in her four years at Endicott, Emily also has a minor in studio art. This has allowed her to express her creativity outside of a digital space and create with her bare hands, which has always been a passion of hers. In her time at Endicott Emily had the privilege to join a study tour to Copenhagen, Denmark in the summer of 2023. This experience was her first time outside of the United States and was greatly influential to how she views design now.

Thesis Abstract
Loop is a menstrual care brand made to break past gender conformity in “feminine products”.
Loop is for anyone who bleeds and enjoys a fun carefree environment. Most period product brands are aimed towards women and women’s empowerment. This includes tag lines such as “strong like a girl”. This is an important message to have out there for young girls who are just getting their periods. But menstruation is not exclusive to young girls, and not every menstruator identifies as a woman, so hyper feminine styled products can be hurtful to those who do not identify in those bounds. Menstrual products are more than a medical necessity but should match the lifestyle of the user. Loop celebrates the spectrum of gender expression in something that is widely seen as feminine.
Loop is highlighted with four products within their line of menstrual care; the daily comfort sanitary pads, the nightly comfort sanitary pads, and the comfort core tampons in regular and heavy. Each of these packages features a unique landscape that wraps around the side of the box in a continuous loop. Within the packaging and advertising material Loop uses unique patterns softly layered over each other creating a sense of calm within chaos.
