Greer Annamae Hines

Artist Biography

Greer Hines is a Massachusetts native graduating in May 2020 with a BFA in interior architecture and a minor in dance. After graduation she hopes to work in the corporate design field and aspires gain her master’s in architecture. Greer has devoted her thesis research to a topic that is close to her heart. She has always dreamed of creating a large-scale educational program to inform people of all ages about the importance of wildlife conservation. This topic is so vast and deserving of its own facilities and programs across the country. It excites Greer to know that as a designer she has the potential to change lives and have a positive impact on the environment through the spaces she creates. Greer hopes that one day, facilities and programs similar to her thesis are adopted across the United States, and even the world, so that the natural wonders of this beautiful planet are appreciated and preserved for generations to come.

Thesis Abstract

Through interactive wildlife conservation education, local community members will come together to care for their native plants and animals. The Social learning and Self Determination theories will motivate the community members to respect and care for their wildlife.
