Artist Biography
Natalie Ryan is from Red Hook, New York; a farm town located along the Hudson River. Ever since Natalie was young she loved looking through magazines that displayed anything along the lines of beautiful living spaces, playful dorm rooms, or unique hotel locations. Over her time at Endicott College, she has learned so much about herself as a designer. She plans on growing further by going to graduate school for a masters degree in Interior Architecture.
Thesis Abstract
My thesis .COM focuses on merging holistic health and farmers markets to make a wholesome, accessible approach to living and eating. .COM intends to address nutritious foods not being accessible enough, diet culture affecting societies physical and mental health, obesity rates constantly increasing, and a healthy lifestyle seeming intimidating and confusing. Local customers will feel comfortable and educated during and after their visit. Users are encouraged to shop, stay, and enjoy their purchases, participate in a cooking class, or speak with one of our nutritionists/health professionals.
