Artist Biography
Alyssa Doherty is graduating from Endicott with a BFA in Interior Design. She loves finding new and different products that solve design challenges. She hopes to make the world a more comfortable place to live in through her designs, and strives to make them as inclusive as possible. She also have a passion for sustainability and hopes to be able to focus on sustainability in her career.
Thesis Abstract
This project will be about making a space where teens in foster care can transition into adulthood while they still have support from the foster system. A sense of community is important to develop relationships they can fall back on when they are adults. Having a comfortable space that feels like home is the overall goal.
