Artist Biography
Lauren Bower will graduate from Endicott College in Spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture. In her time at Endicott, her work was chosen for accreditation, and she has been on the Dean’s List. She has also been a member of the Endicott Softball team all four years, is the team impact leader of the team and is the team impact fellow for the college. Additionally, she is a part of L.E.A.D. Leaders of the Endicott Athletic Department. Lauren completed her senior internship with the Element Group in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and has used many of the tools she learned there on her thesis project where she developed a church for upcoming generations.
Thesis Abstract
There is a disconnect between the Millennial and Gen Z generations and Christianity. This is primarily due to the lack of belonging and personal association for this user group within the current traditional Christian church structures. A Non-denominational Christian church follows a more modern approach to the Christian faith allowing for the youth to develop a more intimate connection to the space and those around them.
